Interested in potentially applying to family med residency programs?

Med 4s who have recently matched to family will be available to answer all your questions about CaRMS, electives, PGY-3 programs, the different family med training programs and anything else you might want to know. They've applied to UBC, McMaster, U of T, U of Ottawa, McGill (Gatineau and Montreal), and Dal, and have varied interests such as women's health, public health, and emergency medicine.

The talk will take place Monday March 12 at 6 pm at Thomson House (downstairs). Dinner will be provided!

“How to manage a medical practice” Dr. Howard Cohen + FREE Thai dinner! March 1st

So you know all about leasing an office, hiring, billing, partnerships, and insurance for your medical practice once you finish Med School, right??

For all of us non-MD/MBA’s these decisions can seem overwhelming. On March 1st 6:00pm at the Annex, Dr. Howard Cohen will be elucidating all the mysteries of setting up and running a medical practice. Basically, the type of stuff that we don’t learn in class. We can all benefit from this information, in any specialty! In summary:
