The Dental Students' Society (DSS) represents the student body of all students studying to acquire a D.M.D. Degree and which are currently enrolled in the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University.  It serves to promote the views of its members in all dealings with the Faculty of Dentistry of McGill University and the University at large.

The DSS serves to encourage interaction between its members and to disseminate information pertinent to the academic, professional and cultural enrichment of all its members.

DSS Statement on the James Building Occupation

The McGill Dental Students’ Society (DSS) disapproves of the methods used by the student group who occupied the James Administration building on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. It is unfair that the actions of one student group should affect all other students’ access to university services. The individual ideals of one group should not be thrust upon all the constituents of a University. Rather, we support the process of debate and change as long as it is done in a constructive, peaceful manner.
